Seth Flatt is a biotech entrepreneur and venture strategist with a strong background in biochemistry, finance, and venture capital. He is the Co-Founder & Chief Venture Officer at Abbio XR, Inc., where he leads strategic initiatives to accelerate the commercialization of extended-release peptide therapeutics. Seth holds an MBA in Finance & Entrepreneurship from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business (2024), where he served as President of the MBA Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital Club and Captain of the Mendoza Venture Capital Investment Competition team. He also earned a Master of Science in Biochemistry from Notre Dame (2022) and a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Oberlin College (2015), where he was a Sigma Xi Research Honors recipient and a varsity athlete (Basketball & Track and Field). Previously, Seth was the Chief Operating Officer at SpoRx Therapeutics, driving business development for novel C. difficile therapeutics. During his MBA, Seth held roles at Notre Dame’s IDEA Center, where he assessed intellectual property and commercialization strategies for emerging biotech ventures. His expertise spans venture capital, startup financing, and biotechnology commercialization. Beyond his professional work, Seth is passionate about cooking, scuba diving (PADI certified), world travel, and the arts.
