Sergio Cerdas has been the Global Head of Radioligand Therapies (RLT) Technical Operations, since 2022. He is a member of the Operations Leadership Team. Prior to his current appointment, Sergio served as Vice President, Manufacturing & Site Head at Novartis Gene Therapies Libertyville, IL facility for almost 2 years. Before joining Novartis, Sergio spent 21 years at Takeda Pharmaceuticals in various leadership roles across five countries. He was Senior Director of Manufacturing in the USA and Production Director in Belgium for Takeda’s plasma derived therapies network. Earlier, he worked as Production Manager in the UK, Canada, and Costa Rica. Sergio received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Costa Rica in 1999. In 2002, he received his master’s in business administration, Finance Major from the University of Costa Rica. He speaks fluently Spanish, English and French.
