Dr. Sarah Trice has nearly two decades of experience across the life science and pharmaceutical sectors. As COO and Head of US Operations at XtalPi, she is establishing a fully automated chemical synthesis lab in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to XtalPi, she co-founded and was COO of Iambic, an AI- and automation-driven biotech firm focused on small molecule oncology therapeutics. Dr. Trice began her career as a medicinal chemist at Merck & Co., where she championed high-throughput experimentation techniques to bridge discovery and process chemistry. She later led innovation and cheminformatics at Merck KGaA, developing and commercializing KitAlysis and SYNTHIA with the global chemistry community. Passionate about connecting chemistry practitioners with enabling technologies, Sarah fosters collaborations with industry and academic partners worldwide.
