Sara Silacci is a social entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience driving mission-oriented strategic growth initiatives. Passionate about creating sustainable programs and profitable businesses that enable healthcare transformation, she founded Mission4Margin in 2023 to achieve this vision. Sara collaborates with a diverse portfolio of clients across both the private and public sectors, offering guidance on strategic investments to diversify revenue, expand impact, and forge a lasting future through entrepreneurship, innovation, and sound business strategy. Formerly the Chief Strategy Officer for Research and Innovation at Massachusetts General Hospital and a founding member of Mass General Brigham, Sara played a pivotal role in advancing the largest hospital system-based research enterprise in the U.S., with an annual budget exceeding $2.3 billion. Notably, Sara co-founded and launched three new research support organizations, which increased collaborations between MGB and industry 10X, leading to the acceleration of bringing novel digital and pharmaceutical treatments to new markets, and most importantly, patients. Sara also played a pivotal role as the Director of Development for National and International Growth Campaigns at Boston Children’s Hospital. She began her career at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, gaining experience in research operations, public affairs, and corporate relations.
