Dr Robyn Cardwell is the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at San Jacinto College's Center for Biotechnology, a Houston-based community college offering world-class biomanufacturing technology training programs, developed in partnership with the National Insitute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT). In her role, she is responsible for regional, national and global collaboration programs and facilitating workforce development within the local bioprocessing industry. Dr. Cardwell has extensive experience in precision medicine, genomics, laboratory automation and machine learning-driven scientific software development through various roles in sales, operations, product launch, customer success and partnership development. Previously, she served as Chief Growth Officer at Omniscience, driving mission-focused AI/ML solutions for life science client, as the global business development manager of ABB Robotics’ Life Sciences division, and was instrumental in bringing new technologies and platforms to market at Genomic Health (now Exact Sciences), Natera and Enthought. Robyn holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Virginia Tech and Wake Forest University along with an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University.
