Prof. Fars Kaed Alanazi is the CEO of Saudi National Institute of Health (Saudi NIH). He is also a Professor of Pharmaceutics at the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University. With over 25 years of experience, Prof. Alanazi has made significant contributions to pharmaceutical sciences, authoring 10 books and publishing more than 250 papers. He is also the author of a notable chapter in Remington: The Science and Practice of Pharmacy (2012). Prof. Alanazi holds 15 patents across the USA, Europe, and Saudi Arabia and has supervised over 40 PhD and Master's students. He was awarded the 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award from King Saud University and is listed among the top 2% of scientists by Stanford Elsevier. His expertise spans drug targeting, pharmaceutical biotechnology, powder technology, technology transfer, and research management. In addition to his academic accomplishments, Prof. Alanazi has been instrumental in founding and developing multiple research initiatives, including the Saudi NIH, the Research Chair Program at King Saud University, and the Biotechnology Excellence Center at the Ministry of Education. He is recognized for his strategic leadership in research management and his ability to drive projects across diverse sectors, including healthcare, technology, and education.
