With a PhD from MIT in polymer sciences Pierre Dromel has been extensively focusing on engineering biomimetic systems that can enhance regenerative medicine. With expertise in neuroscience from Imperial College London he created diverse technologies to combat the biggest challenge faced by regenerative medicine with a primary focus on eye diseases. Dr. Dromel saw this challenge early on in his work and has dedicated his research and career to restore vision, and bring back light to blind patients which led him to co-found InGel Therapeutics. InGel is currently moving different assets towards clinical trial, utilizing stem cell and biomaterials technologies which he co-created. As CTO of InGel, he is focused on innovating novel therapeutics and engineering approaches, along with transforming these technologies into drug products, to bring them to patients suffering from retinal degenerative diseases.
