Michael Paglia has spent over two decades in biotechnology building and motivating process development and manufacturing teams including having led the early process development and manufacturing of four approved gene-modified cell therapies. Currently, Michael is the Chief Technology Officer at ElevateBio, BaseCamp, a technology-driven company commercializing its enabling technologies, manufacturing capabilities, and industry-leading expertise through partnerships to accelerate the development of genetic medicines to treat human diseases. At ElevateBio, he established the process development and manufacturing capability and now leads BaseCamp operations and the advancement of innovative process technologies for partners. Prior to ElevateBio, Michael was the Vice President of CMC Operations at Oncorus, and Head of Technical Operations, Cellular Process Development and Manufacturing Operations at bluebird bio.
