Melanie Whittington, PhD, is the Managing Director and Head of the Leerink Center for Pharmacoeconomics where she leads pharmacoeconomic evaluations of in-development and recently approved pharmaceuticals to communicate the story and value of new innovations to the public. She is also a Senior Fellow within the Center for the Evaluation of Value and Risk in Health (CEVR) at Tufts Medical Center. She is a respected thought leader dedicated to demonstrating the value of innovations and educating the public on the post-approval landscape. Prior to joining CEVR, she was the Director of Health Economics for the Institute for Clinical Economic Review (ICER) where she led the cost-effectiveness analyses and budget impact analyses within ICER reviews.
