Marc is the Executive Director for CSL Seqirus Pandemic & Outbreak Preparedness and Response. In this role he provides global leadership for the CSL Seqirus pandemic portfolio and the teams that interface with the 30 global governments with which CSL Seqirus have pandemic or outbreak agreements. His experience includes 30 years in global pharmaceutical operations with a speciality in Pandemic & outbreak preparedness. Marc managed the H1N1 Pandemic for GSK in Europe, in 2009/10 and joined CSL Seqirus 8 years ago, initially heading up Marketing for EMEA in the seasonal business before taking over leadership of the Pandemic team. Marc has played an industry advisory role to the World Health Organisation in both Pandemic vaccines and Antivirals, to numerous global governments including in Washington DC, Westminster, Canberra & Brussels. He was called as an expert witness to the UK Westminster enquiry for COVID-19 and other infectious diseases, specifically on Avian influenza.
