Kim Gold is the Chief Privacy Officer and Executive Director of Privacy Law at Genentech, one of the world's leading biotech companies and a member of the Roche Group. In this role, Kim leads Genentech's privacy program and provides legal strategy on US and global data privacy matters across the organization. She also drives internal and external policy shaping around data protection, research and real world data use, and personalized healthcare, including through the leadership of an internal privacy legislative working group and collaboration with industry organizations including BIO. Before joining Genentech, Kim was a partner at a global law firm, where she co-led the firm’s HIPAA & health privacy and digital health team.
