Katie Statz is the Chief Operating Officer of BioTechnique®, a Contract Research, Development, and Manufacturing Organization (CRDMO) based in York, Pennsylvania. She oversees manufacturing, logistics, operations, facilities, and business development across the Pennsylvania sites. Since joining BioTechnique® and PSC Biotech in 2017, Katie has led transformative initiatives in operational scale-up and digital transformation. She played a key role in implementing the company’s electronic Quality Management System (eQMS), designing ACE-based workflows that support compliance and efficiency across the business. With dual B.S. degrees in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Rhode Island, Katie brings deep technical expertise and a proven track record in facility start-ups, quality, and company-wide digital integration. Her leadership continues to drive operational excellence and innovation across the organization.
