Schrödinger
As senior director of education at Schrödinger, Jenny works with many internal teams to create high-quality learning resources for both customer and employee use. She develops educational materials for Life Science products, LiveDesign, Life Science workshops/learning programs, and Schrödinger Online Courses. Before joining Schrödinger, Jenny completed a BSc(hon) at James Madison University where she majored in Chemistry and minored in Math. She attended graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania, in the lab of Ivan Dmochowski, working on Xe-129 cryptophane biosensors. After receiving an MSc in organic chemistry, she moved to Melbourne, Australia, where she worked in a metabolomics lab at the Bio21 Institute developing NMR assays to study parasite metabolism. She then enrolled at the University of Melbourne, in the lab of Mark Rizzacasa, working on natural product synthesis and elucidating the mode of action of two anti-cancer compounds. After finishing her PhD, Jenny was awarded a National Health and Medical Research Council fellowship and completed a postdoc at Columbia University in the lab of Brent Stockwell. In the Stockwell lab, Jenny worked on designing and studying RAS and GPX4 inhibitors.
