Jain Krotz is the Acting Director of the Innovation and Commercialization Office at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), where she spearheads investor relations and partnership strategies for the SBIR/STTR program. Before this role, she served as a Scientific Review Officer at the Center for Scientific Review (CSR). Jain brings extensive experience from the corporate sector, where she led R&D efforts across multiple organizations, managed global programs, and oversaw portfolios focused on targeted drug delivery, cell and gene therapy, and implantable medical devices. In her role as the Sr. Director of global business development, she has led the licensing, and M&A activities for various life science assets. Jain holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras, and completed post-doctoral research in bioengineering.
