Felix Townsin
Advocate and Changemaker
Felix Townsin is a 15-year-old advocate and changemaker from Victoria, BC, who has inspired people around the world through his efforts to honour the memory of his sister, Lexi. At just five years old, Felix wrote Don’t Floss Your Toes to raise funds for a cure for Blau syndrome, the rare disease Lexi was diagnosed with.
Tragically, Lexi passed away at the age of six—a loss that profoundly shaped Felix’s life. Determined to help others, he created the documentary Me, My Sister, and Blau to raise awareness and continue the search for a cure. He later launched Lexi’s Legacy, a campaign dedicated to driving positive change in her name.
Through these efforts, Felix has helped raise over $100,000, funding the Lexi’s Legacy Medical Research Grant, awarded annually to support groundbreaking research. He has shared his story on stages across North America and Europe, advocating at major medical conferences for improved care for children with complex medical needs.
Felix’s latest initiative, A Million Acts of Love, has grown from a global movement into a registered foundation dedicated to inspiring kindness and empowering youth. Through microgrants and mentorship, it supports young changemakers in launching social impact projects that make the world a better place.
