Dr. Aljadhey is the Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) since October 2016. He leads the SFDA in its mission to protect and promote public health through science-based regulation. He holds a PharmD and Master’s degree from Purdue University and a PhD in Health Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Aljadhey previously served as Dean of the College of Pharmacy at King Saud University and held multiple leadership roles in academia and healthcare. He is a board member in several national organizations, including the Saudi Health Council and the Public Health Authority. Internationally recognized, he serves as Associate Editor for Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety and has published over 100 research articles. Dr. Aljadhey has received several prestigious awards, including the Andrew McAfee Award for excellence in pharmacoepidemiology.
