He has built a strong patent portfolio and formed valuable global partnerships along the way. His work emphasizes scientific excellence and takes into account social and environmental responsibilities, aligning perfectly with the global shift toward plant-based and sustainable solutions in nutraceuticals, functional foods, and personal care products. Dr. Im holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Brown University and has over 24 years of experience in algal physiology, genetics, and microbial engineering.
