Christine Allen, PhD Christine Allen is a world-renowned scientist, entrepreneur, and leader in drug development. She is a Professor at the University of Toronto and internationally recognized for her research in pharmaceutical sciences, with over 160 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Allen is a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering, Canadian Academy of Health Sciences, Controlled Release Society (CRS), and the Canadian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences (CSPS). She has served as President of both CRS (2022–2023) and CSPS (2020–2022), and held senior academic and industry leadership roles, including Interim Dean of Pharmacy at UofT, Vice-Provost Strategic Initiatives, and Vice-President, Ecosystem Development at adMare BioInnovations. Dr. Allen is also a co-founder and board member of Nanovista Inc. and a driving force behind innovation in drug delivery and formulation.
