Chirag Surti is an Executive Director on the Global Capital Markets team at Morgan Stanley. With over 20 years of experience in the life sciences, Chirag has spent more than a decade in healthcare capital markets and investment banking, primary focused on advising biotech companies on US and cross-border transactions. He has raised over $40 billion for his clients, advising on various forms of equity and equity-linked financings including mid-to-late stage private rounds, IPOs, and subsequent public capital raises throughout the company’s lifecycle. Prior to his career in investment banking, Chirag was a clinical researcher at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and NY Presbyterian Hospital Cornell/Columbia, where he also co-authored various research publications. Chirag graduated from University of Rochester, with a double major in Economics and Biology, and earned an MBA with a STEM designation from Columbia Business School.
