Dr. Chelsea Sumner is a healthcare innovator and currently holds the position of the North and Latin American (NALA) and Africa Healthcare AI Startups Lead at NVIDIA. With a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry and clinical settings, she brings valuable expertise to her role managing relationships for over 1500+ healthcare startups. Her passion for healthcare and technology led her to her current position, where she strives to democratize AI and advance digital health. Beyond her professional achievements, Chelsea is committed to uplifting underrepresented communities. She founded the non-profit organization Dose of Melanin, Inc., connecting thousands of Black pharmacists and student pharmacists to connect, support and empower the community. Outside of pharmacy, you can find Chelsea spending time with loved ones, working out, hosting game night, reading/listening to a book, traveling, and exploring different cuisines.
