Charlie is the Co-Founder and CEO of Intero Biosystems, and company with a complex model of the human intestine for preclinical screening. She received her PhD from the University of Michigan, where she completed her thesis in the Spence lab focused on developing the IP behind the intestinal model. She received a prestigious F31 grant as a graduate student, and has authorship on multiple published papers and has presented at scientific conferences around the world.
