Carla Reimold received her Bachelor of Science in biological and agricultural engineering from Louisiana State University. She earned a PhD in biomedical engineering from the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and performed her postdoctoral studies at Boston Children's Hospital. She is currently the Executive Vice President of Scientific Innovation and Strategic Investments at the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center where she develops and manages the investment strategy for several initiatives in order to support the needs of the Commonwealth’s life sciences ecosystem.
