Dr. Parikh is a GI Oncologist at the MGH Cancer Center where she directs the Colorectal Research Program and Young Adults CRC Program. She is an
Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School and an international expert in CRC and liquid biopsies. She serves as member of the NCCN guidelines for Colorectal Cancer, NCI Colorectal Task Force and NCI working group on liquid biopsies. She leads the clinical liquid biopsy efforts for the GI Oncology group at MGH leading transformative work to evaluate the role of liquid biopsies after curative intent surgeries, to understand response to treatment as well as to understand drug resistance. Though she is a clinical translational researcher, she also has a passion and background in cancer care in low and middle-incomes countries and does work that supports access, equity, and education in LMICs as the Director of the Global Cancer Care Program at MGH.
