Annemiek Verkamman is managing director of hollandbio, the Dutch biotechnology industry association. Hollandbio unites and supports more than 270 companies that create novel technology and products that make the world a healthier, more sustainable, place. Hollandbiois the leading voice of the Dutch biotech sector, engaging with all relevant stakeholders such as policy makers, media and the general public to maximize the sector’s societal and economic impact. Annemiek Verkamman served as managing director since 2012 and is board member of EuropaBio, the European association for bioindustries. Annemiek holds a master’s in chemistry from Leiden University and a master’s in economics & Business Administration.
