Angie McMurry has dedicated over two decades to advancing STEM education in Ohio and beyond. With a strong background in science education and workforce development, she is passionate about fostering innovation and talent in the life sciences industry.
Angie earned her degrees in Biology, Environmental Science, and Education from Ohio Northern University and holds a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Dayton. Her extensive career experience includes teaching numerous science and STEM-based subjects at nearly all levels of education, as well as serving as the Science Curriculum Coordinator for the Darke County Educational Service Center. Prior to joining Ohio Life Sciences, she was the Director of Programs for the Ohio Academy of Science.
Currently, as a part of Ohio Life Sciences, Angie focuses on strengthening the region’s life sciences ecosystem by aligning talent development with the evolving needs of the industry. Her leadership experience is highlighted by her tenure as President of the Science Education Council of Ohio (SECO) and her recent service on the Board of Directors of the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA).
Beyond her professional contributions, Angie is dedicated to her local community and serves as an elected member of the Tipp City Schools’ Board of Education. She resides in Tipp City with her husband, Glen, and their three children.
