Andrea Bild is a Professor of Oncology and Therapeutics and Director of the Cancer Systems Biology Center at the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center. She leads health initiatives in translational medicine and oncology, data science, clinical trial infrastructure, biomarker development and biomedical data tool generation. Dr. Bild is currenlty on assignement to the US government as a Program Manager at ARPA-H, a new research institute, to develop and launch transformative research programs nationally in biomedical data health and translational oncology initiatives. In order to establish these programs, Dr. Bild manages multi-disciplinary, diverse teams and significant resources to enact transformative research. She has over 20 years of experience performing precision health research and lead large, multi-site national teams responsible for developing and executing computational and translational initiatives that span pre-clinical studies to clinical trials.
