Afreen Allam is the Founder and CEO of SiNON Nano Sciences, a biotechnology company pioneering carbon-based nanotechnology for precision drug delivery across the blood-brain barrier (BBB). With a strong background in biomedical innovation and entrepreneurship, Afreen has led the development of SiNON’s patented Carbon Nano Particle (CNP) platform, which is engineered to deliver therapeutics with high precision and reduced toxicity for Central Nervous System (CNS) diseases. Under her leadership, SiNON has achieved critical milestones in preclinical safety, extended drug circulation, and AI-driven molecular docking applications for targeted delivery—positioning the company at the forefront of next-generation drug delivery solutions. Afreen holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and has been recognized for her contributions to innovation and healthcare through several awards, including winning the BIO Startup Stadium. As a mission-driven founder, she is passionate about solving some of the most pressing challenges in neurological disease treatment and expanding access to more effective, targeted therapeutics. She actively mentors young entrepreneurs and advocates for women in STEM and leadership.
