The myriad of public health threats, whether those threats are manmade, accidental, or naturally occurring, underscores the need for preparation before the next emergency is upon us. Many countries are working to strengthen their preparedness ecosystems, through intergovernmental, regional and industry partnerships, enhancing critical preparedness capabilities. These vital capabilities include stockpiling, advancing research and development of medical countermeasures, and addressing regulatory challenges. This distinguished panel of government leaders will provide a lens into how individual governments are addressing current challenges and building a preparedness ecosystem to mitigate future challenges. Additionally, the panel will explore how governments partner with other governments, industry and additional stakeholders to work toward common preparedness goals.
