Digital therapeutics present an evolution in healthcare technology by directly delivering software-based treatments and serving as tools for management and prevention, however, these developments face significant challenges in securing payer reimbursement. They offer innovative technologies that rely on mature data infrastructure and collection, and integrate AI to personalize treatments and content, they also generate opportunity and incentive for growth in innovative reimbursement arrangements across stakeholders, such as greater participation in value-based contracting. Panel participants will discuss the current reimbursement landscape for digital therapeutics and the implications for access.
