Accelerating the Globalization of Cell and Gene Therapies

Tuesday, June 04, 2024
Breakout Session
Cell and Gene Therapy and Genome Editing
31AB
While cell and gene therapies (CGTs) have had tremendous success in the western world, particularly in the US and EU, its benefits have yet to reach the shores of several other parts of the world including Asia, Middle East, Australia and Africa, where patients are desperately in need. Manufacturing and supply chain have been one of the major hurdles that limit access of these life-saving therapies in these geographies. This panel will include experts who are reshaping the manufacturing and supply paradigm in international geographies and paving the path for making CGTs accessible for patients across the globe.
