For too long, women’s health has been overlooked, in research, in funding, and in the way we understand disease. But the science is clear: understanding sex differences doesn’t just improve health outcomes for women, it delivers wide-reaching benefits for society.
The World Can’t Wait for better health outcomes, so it is time to rethink how we define Women’s health, which extends far beyond reproductive health and includes conditions that exclusively affect women, conditions that disproportionately affect women, or conditions that affect women differently than men.
This panel includes leaders across biotech, policy, and research to explore the many ways in which women’s health research is essential to accelerating innovation. From better diagnostics to smarter treatments, and from workforce productivity to quality of life, the potential impact is enormous and long overdue.
