In a recent survey, overall partner ratings by large pharma customers were much higher in comparison to ratings given by smaller biotechs, displaying a potential disparity in how partner organizations could be treating customers. A new approach to partnerships is critical in today’s rapidly evolving biopharmaceutical landscape. This panel will explore some of the outsourcing challenges faced by emerging biotechs, including a lack of leverage, long waits for start times, and large upfront payments as well as discuss a new partnership model that would appeal to clients of all sizes, and what CDMOs and consultants are doing to meet the moment.
