Zafrens specializes in difficult modalities and targets, prosecuted through an internal pipeline as well as through collaborative partnerships. Our proprietary Z-Screen platform replaces the conventional 96-well plate experimental format with a 50,000 - 200,000 well plate format containing a built-in mRNA sequencer. This allows every cell that is imaged in an assay to be sequenced, as well, revealing rich causal relationships between perturbations, molecular responses, cell function and cell interactions.
We have applied Z-Screen to execute ultra-high throughput cell-based functional screens in small molecules, bispecifics, CAR-T optimization, TCR & bispecific TCR discovery, and tissue-selective oligo delivery.
