PurinoScience is a Japan-based biotech venture currently in the process of being established, developing novel therapeutics and functional foods targeting age-related diseases, especially sarcopenia and neurodegenerative disorders. Our lead candidate is a first-in-class small molecule drug for preventing and treating sarcopenia, developed based on pioneering research conducted at the University of Tokyo. This candidate has demonstrated strong efficacy and safety in preclinical studies, and we are preparing for IND submission to advance into clinical trials. In parallel, we develop functional foods aimed at preventing sarcopenia and cognitive decline, based on the same mechanism, through an affiliated company. We collaborate with academic institutions and CROs worldwide and seek partners for clinical development, co-development, and licensing. At BIO2025, we look forward to connecting with global partners to jointly innovate and address the challenges of aging societies.
