OsteoCure Therapeutics, is a Duke University spinout and JLABS company focused on simultaneously accelerating bone healing while reducing pain. Their medical combination device delivers a naturally occurring molecule over a prolonged period of time to bolster bone repair while also inhibiting pain, which has been established across many rodent models. Their mulitfunctional product can overcome the shortcomings of the gold standard (autografts) and what is currently on the market (INFUSE, AUGMENT, etc) which are recombinant proteins demonstrating various side effects. OsteoCure’s product eliminates these undesired effects while adding the benefit of pain relief.
