Orfonyx was launched out ofMatthew Wood’s laband seed funded by Oxford Science Enterprises.We’re building a pipeline of oligonucleotide-based drugs targeting RNA regulatory elements that repress protein expression.This is one of the few platforms that can be broadly applied to increase protein expression. In contrast to our competitors, we believe we have much greater target opportunity, and a very straightforward platform based on well described biology and drug mechanism.We’re pipeline focused and have started work on our initial indications with a goal of developing a multiproduct oligo pipeline across tissues.
