Marama Labs has developed CloudSpec, the world's fastest and most precise instrument for measuring mRNA concentration in lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). Measurements with CloudSpec take seconds, compared to hours with existing methods, accelerating the discovery and development of mRNA based treatments for the most challenging diseases.
CloudSpec was launched commercially in April 2025 to the mRNA-LNP market, with leading mRNA companies Merck and 4BaseBio presenting compelling data for replacing cumbersome fluorescent-based assays for RNA quantification with CloudSpec's rapid approach.
Marama Labs is raising a €7m Series A round, to capitalise on its recent launch into the mRNA market and expand its commercial footprint in the US and European markets.
