A public/private evergreen venture fund, LSGI invests in early-stage life science companies with substantive ties to Pennsylvania (e.g.; HQ, R&D Facility, C-Suite or 50% of FTEs reside in PA)
· Average Ticket: initial investment of $250,000 - $500,000 ; follow-on funding of $1-2M
· Investment Stage: seed through Series A for initial investment
· Sector: human health, including novel therapeutics; medical devices; diagnostics; clinical-facing IT; and tools that facilitate discovery, R&D, and scale-up. Will consider ag-tech and animal health technologies with the potential to impact human health.
