Icosa Pharma Inc. was founded in late 2024 as a start-up company that spun out of the University of Moncton in Canada.
We have developed a family of proprietary (patents in North America and Europe) novel anti-inflammatory small molecules that are in the pre-clinical stage of development.
Our goal is to develop these molecules for the following indications:
1. Alzheimer’s disease and related tau pathologies. A first line oral therapy that could be used to slow or reverse disease progression.
2. Rheumatoid arthritis. In RA, a first-line oral therapy that could be used alone or adjunctive and complementary to first-line RA drugs.
