NeuroAging Research Group develop research lines involved in the knowledge of theranostics, toxicity, biomarkers, pharmacology and preclinical models mainly focused on nervous system diseases and neurovascular diseases. Its research aim is focused on the search for therapeutic (including toxicity issues) and diagnostic targets in neurological and vascular disorders. Globally, its scientific production exceeds 1500 points of accumulated impact factor in the last 10 years with 12 patents. At present, our research group is an excellence ones recognized by the Xunta de Galicia). The funds managed by the Group exceed € 17,5 million in the last 10 years. Funding sources are both public (EU (H2020/MSCA/COST Actions, IMI, Interreg EC) Instituto de Salud Carlos III, Ministry of Science and Innovation, Government of Galicia) and private (internationally multicenter clinical trials in phases II and III, research foundations, contracts with pharmaceutical and biotechnological companies.
