The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) is a professional investment management organization that manages the assets of the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) on behalf of 21 million Canadian contributors and beneficiaries. It was established in 1997 as an independent, arm’s-length entity from the federal and provincial governments. CPPIB ended its first quarter of fiscal 2025 on June 30, 2024, with net assets of $646.8 billion.
