Angiotensin Therapeutics Inc. is a privately held biopharmaceutical company focused on developing breakthrough therapies for Kidney Disease. Angiotensin Therapeutics is a spinout of Northwestern University in Chicago. We have developed a novel biologic therapeutic to modulate the renin-angiotensin system (RAS) to address multiple clinical indications.
Our main biologics are variants of a natural enzyme called Angiotensin Converting Enzyme 2 (ACE2). One of our ACE2 variants has been modified to increase the duration of action from hours to days which makes it much more suitable therapeutically.
