Akaal Pharma is a private, clinical-stage, Australian biotechnology company focused on advancing our internally discovered topical and oral programs. Akaal Pharma is developing new therapies, selective S1P1 agonists (a class of GPCRs) for the treatment of diseases' with significant large unmet medical need.
Akaal Pharma has completed three Phase 1 clinical studies targeting inflammatory disorders human (2 topical Phase 1 clinical studies and 1 oral Phase 1 clinical study). Most recently Akaal Pharma completed a human Phase 2 clinical study in patients with atopic dermatitis and pruritis.
Akaal Pharma continues to actively prioritise and expand the developmental programs to bring new and effective treatments into the market targeting Pain, CNS disorders and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBD).
Akaal Pharma is seeking strategic partners/investors to further develop our lead asset, access to our proprietary libraries of small molecule S1P1 agonists for new therapeutic indications.
