Upcoming Housing Deadlines

* 80% of contracted discounted rooms are sold out.  If you have not secured housing yet, now is the time to do so.

March 12th

  • Group Reservations - If previously secured, all names, dates and credit card information is required as a guarantee to hold accommodations. 
  • Please follow up with on peak, BIO's housing partner regarding details, etc.,  

May 4  

  • Remains the cut-off date to secure accommodations through BIO website to secure discounted accommodations 
  • Effective May 5 - on peak, BIO's housing company will continue to assist with new accommodations, but discounted rooms may no longer be in effect.

  •  Hotel meeting space is filling up quickly and ask you visit BIO website and complete Affiliated Event Application to secure space sooner than later. 
  •  Be sure you review the "approved" days/hours outlined as BIO prefers no groups compete with the Official Program.

Q: Where can I find the Exhibitor Service Kit? 
 A: You can find the Exhibitor Service Kit on the Exhibitor Resources webpage or in your Exhibitor Dashboard.

Q: What’s the difference between myBIO and the One-on-One Partnering™ system? 
A: myBIO is a complimentary event planner available to all attendees/exhibitors that allows you to plan your BIO experience pre-show and onsite. myBIO features sessions, events, speakers, companies and attendee/exhibitor profiles.

The One-on-One Partnering™ system is an online platform that provides sophisticated tools which enable both Business Forum attendees and Exhibitor Booth Partnering companies to pre-schedule 30-minute private, one-on-one meetings to be conducted onsite.

Q: What if I lose my badge onsite? 
A: A replacement badge is $500.00 or the on-site cost of the required badge type, whichever is less, if you misplace or lose your original name badge.

Best Practices for Exhibitor Booth Partnering

Exhibitor Booth Partnering is one of two types of partnering available at the BIO International Convention. Unique to exhibitors, this type of partnering allows exhibiting companies to schedule face-to-face meetings with senior level management and investors. As part of the exhibit package, exhibiting companies receive access to the BIO One-on-One Partnering™ System, the online portal that conference attendees use to identify prospective business partners in the BIO Exhibition and the Business Forum.

Best Practices for Exhibitor Booth Partnering

Learn how to maximize your Exhibitor Booth Partnering experience in the One-on-One™ partnering system with these online resource

Tips for success:

  1. Register your Exhibitor Partnering Contact.
  •  Be strategic. Don’t register just anyone as your Exhibitor Partnering Contact (EPC). The EPC will receive the login credentials for the partnering system and will be responsible for managing your company presence, updating your company calendar, and sending and receiving meeting requests. 
  •  Exhibitor registration will open in March, but the One-on-One™ partnering system will not open until April. Use the month of March to determine who from your company is best suited to this role. 
  •  In order to get the most out of your Exhibitor Booth Partnering experience, substitutions of your Exhibitor Partnering Contact are discouraged. Please discuss this with the BIO customer service team at if you have any questions. 

     2. Determine the number of Meeting Points your exhibit space will need.

  •  BIO recommends 1 Meeting Point per 100sqft, with a maximum of 10 (or however many 100sqft your area is). 
  •  Select the number of Meeting Points your company will need in your Exhibitor Dashboard. The Meeting Points Tile will launch in March.  
  •  Please note: Pavilion Organizers and independent exhibitors are required to do this step. Sharee companies will have the number of Meeting Points for the Pavilion determined by the Pavilion Organizer. 

    3.  Submit your exhibit display for approval.

  •  Don’t forget to include information about your Meeting Points!

A Message for Pavilion Organizers

  1. Upload Sharee Companies in your Pavilion Dashboard
    You should have already received your login information to start uploading sharee companies. If you have not, please contact us at or call 202-312-9264. The sooner you upload them, the sooner they are visible in myBIO!
  2. Exhibitor Badge Registration is Now Open
    Sharees may register booth personnel for badges through their own Exhibitor Dashboard. Be sure to allot the correct number of booth personnel badges to your sharee companies.
  3. Select Product Categories in your Pavilion Dashboard (and encourage Sharees to do so in their Dashboard!)
    We encourage all exhibitors and sharees to take time in selecting product categories. It’s a great tool for attendees and companies to find you in myBIO.
