How to Upgrade Your Registration

Would you like to gain access to the evening and networking events like Wednesday’s Evening Reception with a live concert by Motown icon, Diana Ross? Register for Convention Access. Be sure to indicate that your company is exhibiting to gain access to your booth before and after hours.

Or if you are specifically interested in participating in educational sessions, register for Education & Exhibition Access and indicate that your company is exhibiting.

Exhibitor Booth Partnering 

Exhibitor Booth Partnering Meeting Points

A meeting point is a dedicated location within your exhibit space for Exhibitor Booth Partnering meetings. Meeting points, or meeting space, may be private or casual—it’s up to you.

Why do I need meeting points?
Meeting points are required because meetings are scheduled to occur at specific meeting locations within an independent exhibit booth or pavilion. If there are no meeting points in your exhibit space, no partnering meetings can be scheduled. To ensure that your company is ready to take full advantage of Exhibitor Booth Partnering once scheduling begins, you should indicate a valid number of meeting points within your exhibit space by accessing the “Meeting Point” Tile in your Exhibitor Dashboard by April 23rd, 2018

Who is responsible for assigning meeting points? 
ONLY Pavilions and independent exhibiting companies are responsible for indicating their meeting points. If you are a Sharee Company exhibiting within a Pavilion, the Pavilion Organizer will determine the number of meeting points for the entire Pavilion (sharee companies within pavilions do not indicate meeting points).  

Please consult BIO if you need help determining how many meeting points your exhibit space might need. BIO reserves the right to adjust the number of meeting points in any exhibit booth or pavilion due to square footage requirements or for administrative reasons.

How many meeting points do I need? 
We recommend one meeting point per 100 sq. ft., with a limit of 10.  

Providing multiple meeting points will allow you to hold multiple, concurrent Exhibitor Booth Partnering meetings in your exhibit space during a single timeslot.

Please note: If you do not select at least one meeting point in your Exhibitor Dashboard, no Exhibitor Booth Partnering meetings can be scheduled for your company. Accordingly, if you have not specified your number of meeting points by the deadline, BIO may, at its discretion, assign one meeting point to enable your company to hold partnering meetings.

Event Space Within Official BIO Hotels: Complete the Affiliate Event Request form by Friday, May 4 in order to apply for a conference room or other meeting/reception space in one of BIO’s official hotels. Effective May 5th, BIO is no longer available to assist in securing Hotel Meeting Space for your Affiliated Event needs.  Please reach out to Official Hotels directly.
