BIO 2017 Exhibitor Registration Now Open

Exhibitor Kit is Now Available

The Exhibitor Service Kit gives your company several options for accessing important exhibitor information. Full of in depth content, it's highly recommended that your staff and exhibitor appointed contractors (if using one) review the kit tabs and get familiar with the Convention. Reviewing the kit and ordering in advance also saves you time and money pre-event and during the move-in/move out process.

Items to be mindful of: 

  • Strict Targeted Plan: Move-in floor plans will be available in the kit, showing all companies what date and times they can begin installing their booth. Please note: Due to our staggered move-in of the exhibition space and tight schedule, we cannot accommodate any early move in requests for 2017.
  • Official BIO 2017 Vendors: In an effort to assist you with choosing vendors, we now showcase the official vendor logos in the exhibitor newsletter email body, exhibitor service kit cover and general show information document within the kit. Official vendors not only offer great value for their services, but are our partners, making it easy for BIO to assist with more information and company contacts.

Q: Where can I find the Exhibitor Service Kit?

Q: What’s the difference between myBIO and BIO One-on-One Partnering?

A: myBIO is a complimentary event planner available to all attendees/exhibitors that allows you to plan your BIO experience pre-show and onsite. myBIO features sessions, events, speakers, companies and attendee/exhibitor profiles. 

BIO One-on-One Partnering™ is an online platform that provides sophisticated tools which enable Partnering attendees and Exhibitor Booth Partnering companies to pre-schedule 25-minute private, one-on-one meetings to be conducted in San Diego. 

Q: What if I lose my badge onsite?

A: A replacement badge is $500.00 or the on-site cost of the required badge type, whichever is less, if you misplace or lose your original name badge.

BIO One-on-One Partnering™ for Exhibitors

About Partnering

As an exhibitor at BIO 2017, you receive complimentary access to BIO One-on-One Partnering and the ability to host your partnering meetings in your branded exhibit booth. Exhibitor Booth Partnering allows your company to have pre-scheduled face-to-face meetings where your company’s thought leaders and brand are unified – in the BIO Exhibition.

Get a head start on partnering at the 2017 BIO International Convention by following these three simple steps:

  1. Check out an overview of partnering and tips for success by clicking here.
  2. Take advantage of BIO’s tutorial videos and step-by-step guide to familiarize yourself with the system’s intuitive interface.
  3. Mark your calendar for April 10, when the partnering system opens. Your login credentials will come from, so please add this address to your safe senders list.

Best Practices for Exhibitor Booth Partnering

Exhibitor Booth Partnering is one of two types of partnering available at the BIO International Convention. Unique to exhibitors, this type of partnering allows exhibiting companies to schedule face-to-face meetings with  senior level management and investors. 

Learn how to maximize your Exhibitor Booth Partnering experience in BIO One-on-One Partnering with these online resources. Tips for success:

    1. Register your Exhibitor Partnering Contact.

  • Be strategic. Don’t register just anyone as your Exhibitor Partnering Contact (EPC). The EPC will receive the login credentials for the partnering system and will be responsible for managing your company presence, updating your company calendar, and sending and receiving meeting requests.
  • Partnering opens on April 10th. Use the month of March to determine who from your company is best suited to this role.
  • In order to get the most out of your Exhibitor Booth Partnering experience, substitutions of your Exhibitor Partnering Contact are discouraged. 

    2. Determine the number of Meeting Points your exhibit space will need.

  • BIO recommends 1 Meeting Point per 100sqft, with a maximum of 10.
  • Select the number of Meeting Points your company will need in your Exhibitor Dashboard. The Meeting Points Tile will launch in March. 
  • Please note: Pavilion Organizers and independent exhibitors are required to do this step. Sharee companies will have the number of Meeting Points for the Pavilion determined by the Pavilion Organizer.

    3. Submit your exhibit display for approval.

  • Don’t forget to include information about your Meeting Points!
