  • If you wish for your public official to have a dedicated, private meeting room within one of the hotels in the BIO block, please submit an Affiliated Events application. You will be contacted with available options and price quotes.

Meetings with BIO Leadership

We typically receive multiple requests from member companies to meet in one-on-one settings with individual international public officials at the Convention. Such requests are important ways to exchange information and discuss investment opportunities within your region.

Should we receive a specific request to arrange a one-on-one meeting with your international public official, it is important for us to know whom to contact. We may wish to establish direct communication between your main contact and the organization requesting a meeting. The on-line registration request form will include a section that authorizes BIO to establish direct communication between your main contact and any member organization wishing to meet your public official. We appreciate your willingness to provide such authorization and will remain available for extra assistance if needed.

Suggested Schedules for International Public Officials

  • The BIO International Convention has many features, with 100+ educational sessions & Super-Sessions, a busy exhibition hall, Business Partnering, and daily networking events.
  • If you wish for BIO to suggest events for your public official to participate in, please send a request to mkaminstein@bio.org, outlining the dates of your public official’s visit, professional focus, and goals & objectives for attending.

Thank you for your participation. We look forward to working with you and your international public official(s). See you in San Diego!
