Social Spotlight Application

As a service to BIO 2026 participants, we list independent networking events (not hosted by BIO) to our Social Spotlight web page, which will be published in mid-May.

Use this form to submit your event for consideration to be listed on the Social Spotlight page. Applications will be reviewed by the BIO team to ensure they meet the qualifications below.

To be considered for a Social Spotlight listing, your organization / event must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Your organization has a partnership with BIO or is a BIO 2026 participant.
  • The event name does not include "BIO International Convention" or "BIO 2026" in a manner that creates confusion or implies that this is an official BIO 2026 event produced by BIO.  (e.g., "BIO International Convention Workshop" would not qualify. Similarly, "BIO 2026 Reception" would also not qualify).
  • It must be clear that this is an independent event, organized and sponsored financially by the entity listed in the "Organization hosting the event" field.
  • Your event is not a conference or other content program.
  • Your event does not include partnering meetings or 1-on-1 meeting scheduling.
  • Your event must also be open to all (not "invite-only).
  • You are registered for BIO. You will need to upload your registration confirmation.

If your event does not meet ALL criteria above it will not be listed.

Deadline to submit your event: June 12. The Social Spotlight page is updated once per week, starting in mid-May. Listing on BIO's Social Spotlight page is at BIO's discretion.

Incomplete forms (for example, "Venue: TBD") will not be considered and will require you to resubmit your form.
