TheraMe! AG, is a Swiss EPFL spin-off developing a miniaturized diagnostic platform for personalized oncology.
Based on proprietary microfluidic technology, tens to hundreds of treatment options can be tested directly on tumor cells from a single biopsy. Unlike mutational analysis or organoid testing that can take weeks to months, TheraMe! measures drug efficacy directly on patient biopsies within the clinically relevant decision window of around 10 days. RNA-seq readout after drug exposure provides a molecular blueprint of the cellular response, helping select effective therapies and rule out treatments likely to cause toxicity without clear benefit.
TheraMe! has secured seed funding, achieved ISO 13485 certification, completed investigational clinical studies, established an operational in-house sequencing facility, and developed an integrated alpha prototype. We are now preparing for Series A financing to support product finalization and upcoming clinical performance studies.
