BIOIO predicts which drugs will work in humans before clinical trials, and has used this to create a first-in-class diabetes drug.
BIOIO's MOAT (mechanism of action technologies) platform contains two complimentary AI engines: Phasor, a clinical trial success predictor with 93% accuracy -- to our knowledge the highest of any platform -- and Inflector, which has mapped gene-to-drugs and drug-to-genes across 17,710 of the ~20K protein-coding genes (88% accuracy). Together they have produced 11 in vivo or in human validated therapeutic programs spanning metabolic, neurological, oncology, and cardiovascular indications. The lead program, BIOIO-1001, is an insulin sensitizer for Type II Diabetes with a first-in-class mechanism that outperforms established therapies including the GLP-1s in pre-clinical models. Every BIOIO compound begins with in vivo evidence and a predicted composition of matter IP path, reducing the costs and time before committing to expensive experiments.
